 A p16 stain has been performed upon the slide with the largest area of tumor. Most of that tumor is p16 negative, but a minority portion, about 10%, is distinctly positive.


 COMPOSITE RESECTION LEFT HEMIGLOSSECTOMY FLOOR OF MOUTH TONSIL AND SUPERIOR CONSTRICTURE AND LEVEL 1B: permanent 10.  MODERATELY DIFFERENTIATED SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA
