Cooked some mashed potatoes today and tried to eat a bite. The taste on my tongue was awful and I gagged and had to spit out and gargle and scrape my tongue. I'm just not ready to eat anything by mouth. At least I tried.
Tonight I started a dog sitting job that will last 6 days. I feel alright about working again. I'll be sleeping downstairs for the next week but that's OK.
I ingested through my PEG tube 706 calories, 66 grams of protein, and 14 ounces of water.
